The five guys who got caught shoplifting is the basis for this Coconut Creek Police Department Arrest Alert. Staff at the new Burlington at Coconut Creek Plaza called 911 on Monday (November 24) at just after 5 o’clock in the evening to report five men stealing pretty much everything that wasn’t nailed down in the store. All five of them took off running as officers arrived. They jumped the fence into the Hammocks neighborhood where they were all five arrested without incident. None of them were from Coconut Creek. One of them was a juvenile. They were all charged with grand theft and resisting arrest for running from the police.
