Voting ends on Tuesday, January 6, 2026 at 3:00 PM EST. Award winners will be announced by Thursday, January 8th, on the City’s social media pages. Best of luck to all the participants!

About the Holiday Light Contest:

• Residents and businesses of Coconut Creek have a chance to show off their exterior holiday light displays

• Entry with the most votes will be awarded first place
• Entrants will receive a lawn sign to indicate their participation
• Entrants are responsible for submitting photos of their display
• Gift cards will be given to the photos with the most likes on Facebook. 1^st place, $100, 2^nd place, $75, 3^rd place, $50.
• Voting will take place from Tuesday, December 9^th, through Tuesday, January 6^th
• Award winners will be announced by Thursday, January 8^th, on the City’s social media pages
• Voting will take place on Facebook
• Participation in the contest and voting are both free
• Participants must register via email in order to be part of the contest
• Homes in gated communities can participate but are not eligible to win

• To register your home or business, email CreekContest@coconutcreek.gov  

• Must provide family or business name, address, community name, contact phone number, and a photo of the home or business

• All entries become public records and the property of the City of Coconut Creek, and are subject to disclosure in accordance with Chapter 119, Florida Statutes
  • Entries may be used for non-commercial purposes in City brochures, flyers, websites, displays, articles, magazines, programs, advertisements, events, or social media without compensation
