The City of Coconut Creek’s Arbor Day event has been in existence for over 25 years. It’s an annual celebration dedicated to planting, caring for, and celebrating trees. After visiting multiple booths and educating themselves on the importance of trees to the ecosystem, Coconut Creek residents receive two plants and one tree for free. Estimated trees given away is around 500 with close to 1,000 residents actually visiting the event each year.
