A fatal traffic crash on Saturday night killed two people, the driver and the passenger, in the 3600 block of Sample Road.

The crash happened at approximately 10:30 p.m. The car, a 2023 Hyundai, was traveling westbound when it left the road and hit a concrete traffic light pole near the entrance to Tradewinds Park. It was the only car involved in the crash.

The driver, a 30-year-old man from Coral Springs, and the passenger, a 26-year-old woman, also from Coral Springs, both died at the scene.

The crash investigation is ongoing.
