Arbor Day Tree Giveaway

Celebrating Over 26 Years of Growing a Greener Community

Each spring, the City of Coconut Creek celebrates Arbor Day which is observed nationally on the last Friday in April. Our major event is our annual tree giveaway and takes place every year on the Saturday following Arbor Day.

Join the City of Coconut Creek as we celebrate the 26th annual Arbor Day Free Tree Giveaway! This beloved community event continues our commitment to sustainability and environmental stewardship by offering residents the opportunity to take home one FREE tree and two FREE plants for each Coconut Creek household.

Event Highlights:

  • Visit information stations to learn how to care for the trees and plants
  • Information on starting and maintaining a butterfly garden, native plants, beneficial insects, protecting water quality, and composting
  • Master Gardeners will be on hand to answer questions

This event is open to Coconut Creek residents only. Proof of residency is required. Trees are available on a first-come, first-served basis while supplies last.
